Taito, 1986
Taito never made a slant-top mini (cabaret) cabinet.
This project started as a curiosity: could a 19" monitor fit in a cabinet the size of a Ms Pac cabaret, but shaped like a classic Taito. As it turns out, the answer is yes.
This is a brand new cabinet, constructed from CNC-cut plywood. The entire cabinet is painted, and the sides are painted stencils. Custom artwork was created for the bezel and control panel. The monitor is a Wells K4675 that I had on the shelf. Many of the other parts came from a donor cabinet that had been converted and covered in laminate.
If want to build one for yourself, I've made all of the design files available on the downloads page.
