Operation Wolf

Taito, 1987

Operation Wolf is an interesting reflection of the era in which it was created, with the hero fighting guerrillas in some unnamed jungle. The action is frenetic, and the gun has some great recoil feedback.  Most new players die in the second level, which I'm sure was on purpose, as the game allows you to add credits to continue.

A mirror gives the illusion that the monitor is further away than possible, and allows for better aiming.

This machine is in pretty good condition. I recapped the monitor and replaced the flyback, then replaced the bushings that hold the gun to remove some slop.
